Allergen information on Orderpad receipts

The law requires that your customers are able to receive information about any allergens that may be present in their food both at the time they buy and when their food is delivered.

You’ll already know how important this is. Allergens can present a serious health risk to some diners and the law is there to help prevent unintentional consumption of allergenic ingredients.

To help reinforce the message that customers should check with your restaurant for specific information about allergens, we’re including the following message on their Orderpad receipt, just below the amount paid column:
"IMPORTANT: FOR FOOD ALLERGEN INFO
Call the restaurant or check their menu."

Whilst we are hoping that this message will encourage customers to ask about allergens, please remember that it remains your responsibility to make this information easily accessible to all your customers should they ask for it. Always be allergen aware.
