Dos and dont's with Menu Manager

Menu Manager provides a fast and simple way to update your menu. Make price changes, add new items and set up meal deals for your customers.

Here’s how to make Menu Manager work best for you.

Good practices:

  • Give detailed description including allergens, what it comes with, key flavours and core ingredients.
Doing this will mean your customers spend less time deciding and more time ordering.
  • Label "Spicy" and "Vegetarian" dishes.
  • Use logical menu sections.
We found that 45% of Just Eat customers prefer a simple layout of menu with clearly signposted sections. Most people like to choose items in the order they’ll eat it*
For instance: Starters, Mains, Desserts, Drinks.
Think about separating your Mains into categories such as Pasta, Pizza, Vegetarian dishes, etc., to make browsing easier for customers.
  • Make dishes customisable, e.g. with add-ons and different protein options.
  • Provide descriptions for your categories.
  • Create a menu section with "Specials" or "Recommended" that sits at the very top of your menu.
Set up regular offers and discounts. Customers love an offer, and they love it more when it’s an offer on your amazing dishes.

  • Proofread your menu to catch any spelling mistakes!
  • Label your alcoholic drinks as 18+ and include the ABV %, and include the volume on all drinks (e.g. Coca Cola 330ml).
