Top tips to regain your Local Legend status

We’re sorry to see that you’ve been suspended from the Local Legend programme. Unfortunately you are now ineligible to become a Local Legend for the next three months, but don’t panic, we’re here to help you get back on track.

Our Local Legends are identified by their Performance Score, great FSA rating, customer repeat order rate, and by their high use of ‘On It’s Way’ notifications. We’ve pulled together some top tips to help you regain your legendary status:

Increasing your use of ‘On its way’

  • Teach your staff about ‘On its way’ – tell your staff about the importance of pressing the ‘On its way’ button every time an order leaves the restaurant.
  • Make a member of staff responsible – assign a dedicated member of staff to be responsible for tapping the button as orders go out, this way you’ll be certain that it’s being done.
  • Make it fun – make it into a competition, offer a prize for the member of staff who sends the most ‘On its way’ notifications in a month. Your notification usage will rise quickly!

Improving your Performance Score

  • Don’t add extra time to orders – if you think you’ll need more time to prepare and deliver food, head over to Partner Hub and increase your preparation time rather than adding extra time to orders.
  • Try not to reject orders – each order you reject will lower your Performance Score. If your restaurant is too busy and you feel like you’ll have to reject orders, head to Partner Hub and take yourself temporarily offline. You can go back online once you’ve caught up with orders.
  • Improve your customer reviews – Why not include a small freebie with each order? This is more likely to result in a positive review, and it also increases the chance of the customer placing another order with you. It might even increase their order value for next time by introducing them to new dishes or sides.

Don’t forget, you can track your Performance Score and ‘On Its Way’ usage on Partner Hub under the reporting section. Download the Partner Hub app to access your details on the move.

Improving your FSA

An Environmental Health Officer (EHO) looks at three key areas when conducting a site inspection:

  • How hygienically the food is handled – how it’s prepared, cooked, cooled, stored, and what measures are taken to prevent food being contaminated with bacteria..
  • The condition of your premises – including cleanliness, layout, lighting, ventilation, equipment and other facilities.
  • Management and recording of food safety – How and what you do to make sure your food is safe.

For more information on these three points, and for a range of handy tips, check out our Food Hygiene Inspection post on the Partner Blog.

If after three months you successfully meet the qualifying criteria again, we look forward to welcoming you back as a Local Legend. You won’t have to do anything, just keep an eye out for an email from us inviting you back to the programme.

We hope to welcome you back as a Local Legend soon.
