The change of ownership will take effect from 11.59pm on the Sunday following the change of ownership date.
If we are notified of the change of ownership after the change of ownership date, the previous owner will receive payment for all orders received up to and including that date.
The new owner will receive payment for all orders received after that date.
From a payment perspective, this will take effect from 11.59pm on the Sunday following this date or, if we receive the completed form after the actual change of ownership date, the first Sunday after we have been notified.
New owner example: If you took over the business on Wednesday 4 May, payments will be allocated to you from Monday 9 May onwards.
Old owner example: If you sold your business on Wednesday 4 May payments will be allocated to you up to and including Sunday 8 May. Payments after this date will go to the new owner.
The cost for a change of ownership is considerably reduced in comparison to the sign-up fee because you already have a Just Eat Orderpad.
This is to support your change of ownership request so that we can verify who the owner is, check their signature, the bank account we will be paying into and the proof of address that they are trading from.
We require these documents to avoid future ownership disputes.
Once the new owner’s account goes live, they will receive their first invoice on the following Tuesday.
Invoice periods run weekly from Monday to Sunday. Invoices are sent by email, and are available on Partner Hub and the Just Eat Orderpad on a Tuesday, except for bank holiday when it will be one day later.
Payment will be on a Friday with the exception of Easter and Christmas. We’ll be in touch about any dates that are exceptions nearer the time.
All documents can be sent via post or email.
