Our system uses a range of data when calculating the ranking of restaurants:
Speed of delivery
The website will rank takeaways based on their proximity to the customer’s address.
The estimated time of delivery in minutes is taken into account because in an urban area the same distance might take longer to drive to due to traffic than it would in the countryside.
Restaurant quality (review star rating)
The last 60 days’ worth of reviews will be taken into account – the better your customer reviews are, the higher you’ll be on the list, so make sure you prompt your customers to leave you a review.
Value (discounts and customer special offers)
A restaurant with a customer special offer will always be listed higher than one without. So you can take advantage of this, you can set up your special offers yourself without putting in a request.
If you’ve closed your account, you’ll have a three month cooling off period to return to Just Eat free of charge.
After the three month period, you’ll have to pay the full sign-up fee to come back online.
